Standing between 12 and 13 inches high, this popular series of handmade historical dolls represent the Tudor and Elizabethan Kings and Queens of England. The individually sculpted heads are reproduced in porcelain in my studio, along with the hands and feet. I make each doll personally, from china painting and firing on the delicate features, to designing and making the authentic costumes. The dolls have lifelike set-in eyes, and hairstyles fashioned from soft mohair. Costumes are made from velvet, brocade and other rich materials; hats, head-dresses and clothes are all finished off with the appropriate scale pearls and jewelry.

Each doll is signed and numbered.
